The ThinkPad 80 GB HDD utilizes the latest technology for enhanced mobile productivity. For customers with increasing requirements for emerging technologies, new applications, and additional disk storage capacity, more disk space can be allocated for integrated fax, graphics, Internet, and multimedia functions. When used with the optional ThinkPad 2nd HDD Adapter for Ultrabay 2000, this HDD provides low-cost, high-speed data backup when installed in the Ultrabay 2000 of the ThinkPad A, R, T Series, or UltraBase X2 media slice, ThinkPad X3 UltraBase, ThinkPad Dock, or ThinkPad Dock II. This drive can also be used to replace the system hard drive in the ThinkPad A, T, X, and R Series laptops. In addition, when used with the optional ThinkPad 2nd HDD Adapter for Ultrabay Slim, this drive can be installed as a second HDD in the bay of the ThinkPad T40 Series for a high-speed backup system or for additional hard disk capacity.
